Tax Planning & Preparation

“The tax code now is filled with regulations that not only adjust for inflation but phase in or phase out at different points, making tax planning impossible unless you have a clear road map of the rules and understand them.” Paul Gadda

You are not required to pay more tax than the law requires, and yet many businesses and individuals do pay more.  With our careful tax planning services, we can often reduce the amount of tax you will pay based upon how taxable events are structured.

Also, many businesses and individuals pay too much tax because they do not understand the ins and outs of the law and do not tax advantage of tax-free or tax-deferred income nor take advantage of many of the lesser known deductions.

Tax planning with Good Sense Accounting enables you to take advantage of the various tax-favored provisions in the law and enables you to structure how much and when you will pay your taxes.

 Business Taxes

”We were a business, I couldn’t raise taxes. I had to look at where the fat was.” Dian Powell

As businesses, we cannot raise taxes and often times are not able to increase what we charge for goods and services.  However, we can reduce what you pay in taxes by taking advantage of the tax laws.  We do this through tax planning and tax return preparation.

  •  Good Sense Accounting can help you pay the least amount of tax required, communicate with the tax authorities and represent you should you be audited.
  •  We prepare Federal and State income tax returns and other tax returns required to be filed by your business.

 Individual Tax Returns

”The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax.” Albert Einstein

Einstein said it all.  Too many people pay more taxes than they should because they don’t understand the law and don’t take advantage of the various credits and deductions that are allowed.  Others pay too much because they don’t structure or time taxable events properly.

Good Sense Accounting will assist you with this and provide the comfort and security of knowing you have help corresponding with the tax authorities and have representation should you get audited.
